SteerOn research is a scientific company which is developing permitted daily exposure (PDE)/ acceptable daily exposure (ADE) and occupational exposure limits (OEL) report for any API for risk identification in the manufacture of different medicinal products in shared facilities.
PDE is a substance specific dose that is unlikely to cause an adverse effect if an individual is exposed at or below this dose every day for a lifetime.
The OEL/TTL is the concentration in the air to which nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse health effects to themselves or their children.
In accordance with the “Guideline on setting health based exposure limits for use in risk identification in the manufacture of different medicinal products in shared facilities” (EMA/CHMP/ CVMP/ SWP/169430/2012) and "International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Risk-Based Manufacture of pharmaceutical products: A guide to managing risk associated with cross contamination (Risk-MaPP) guidelines.
